Would you like to be known by God, as He knew Abraham? Abraham was God's friend. What better relationship could there be than with the God of the Universe? But do you know that He is blessed and ready to give His blessing to His friends too?

The righteous man is like a tree, and this symbol is worth looking at more deeply in the Scriptures. We have from the very beginning the good tree and the bad tree, the true tree and the false, forbidden tree. People often choose the bad tree, but God brings the tree of life as a ransom.

The friend of God, righteous and blessed, drinks from the good fountain, just as the tree full of sap and fruit has its source beside the good spring. There are many springs from which you may satisfy your thirst, but there is only one that is truly authentic, the one your soul truly needs.

If the tree no longer drinks from the good spring, it dries up and is cut down. If the branches do not remain in the vine, they are thrown into the fire. We live in a war between two realms; the battle is fierce, but in the end we may receive a crown as our reward.
